Filing Fees due to the Pandemic

Forms and Filings
Filing Methods Available during the Pandemic
Pleadings and filings may be submitted in several ways:
Judge's Copies
MCR 2.119(2) states: "A copy of a motion or response (including brief) filed under this rule must be provided by counsel to the office of the judge hearing the motion. The judge's copy must be clearly marked judge's copy on the cover sheet; that notation may be handwritten." The temporary procedure of allowing pleadings to be emailed to the Clerk's Office does not include judge's copies mandated by Court Rule to be delivered to the Judge's Office. You must provide a hard copy for the Judge. Please contact your assigned Judge if you have questions about delivery of the judge's copy. If mailing, send the judge's copy directly to the Judge's Office. Alternatively, the judge's copy may be placed in the Drop Box available at the Lansing Location.
Ingham County Friend of the Court - Copies
If your matter involves a divorce with minor children, child custody, child support, parenting time, or spousal support, an additional copy of any and all filings you submit must be provided to the Circuit Court Clerk's Office. (This copy will be forwarded over to the FOC Office.)
